Escape

There will be no escape from wars, from hunger, from misery, from racial discrimination, from denial of human rights, and not even from missiles, if our hearts are not changed.

  1. I believe that, and I believe that when that does happen...well the coming of our Lord is near...

  2. I took this quote from Phillip Yancey's What's so Amazing About Grace?. He was talking about forgiveness and it's relation to grace. About how forgiveness not only changes the one being forgiven, but the one forgiving. There is no escape if we do not forgive and change our hearts. Then, I agree, the Lord is near.

  3. I agree there is no escape if we don't forgive, however being that we were created with free choice/will...I don't actually ever see that happening, where the world as a whole forgives and then we become one big happy family??? There are too many people and too many variables for that to happen, and if it did I would be highly suspicious of the whole thing.

  4. oh, I misunderstood your first comment. I agree. When we all change our hearts to stop war and misery, it will probably be after our experiences with the great Throne.
